John P. Schmidt, CPA
John Schmidt is the managing practitioner with over thirty years of experience in both public and private industry. His experience includes working with larger regional firms before starting his own practice in 1995.
John enjoys providing small businesses and individuals with a wide range of financial services from tax planning and preparation, financial reporting, systems development and management, to financial planning. Helping these entities reach their financial goals is key to his service.
Whether it is a long term client or a new one, John wants each client to feel they have a knowledgeable friend to help them with their financial needs.
Lisa M. King
Lisa has worked in the field of public accounting for the past 13 years. She also has over six years of experience in the banking industry. She is a graduate of The University of Louisville with a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in accountancy.
Lisa enjoys the diversity that working in a small, family-owned CPA firm offers. This has afforded her a well-rounded background that specializes in servicing small to medium-sized business clients as well as individuals. Her business clients have included restaurants, veterinary practices, manufacturing companies, construction companies, and retailers. Her favorite part of the job is the one-on-one client relationships she has developed.
Emily serves the firm as our Office Manager/Administrative Assistant. With four years of office administrative experience, she excels at providing staff support to John and Lisa and keeps the office organized and running smoothly. Emily is a graduate of Jefferson Community College with an associate's degree in accounting. She assists John and Lisa with accounting practices and tax preparation.
Emily adamantly believes that as the first voice heard on the phone or the first contact at the door, her goal is to make each client feel at ease and confident with our service.
